[ forget manners or introductions, she just thought of something and she's too excited to bother with anything else! in fact she couldn't even wait to sit down properly, just turned the gear thingy on while she was sitting in the grass after a training session with her ponyta. ]

[ this is all for you, Xiao'yu. clearly a waterfall is the solution to training you! there's some splashing noises coming from vaguely behind her where her feebas is resting in a bucket of water. Xiaoqiao does not seem to notice. ]

I think Flaming Rabbit will be strong enough to ride long distances soon, I've been training him every day since he hatched! So, so I think he'll be okay even if the trip is a bit long...

[ her ponyta wanders by, sitting down next to her and resting his head in her lap. yeah...her ponyta is named Flaming Rabbit. she plays with the flaming mane for a moment. ]

They're kind of boring. [ 8 hours of waiting tables man... ]

I have! He's developing really fast, I can't believe how strong his legs are already! [ at least training him has been relatively easy and familiar for her. ]

If he's anything like horses back home, that isn't a surprise. [Not that she's actually had experience with horses or anything.] My Blitzle was the same way. He's probably the one with most battling experience compared to everyone.

Really? Horses don't develop so fast back home, it takes at least a few years before you can start training them with a rider. I was surprised he hatched as big as he did! And even then I was worried his bones weren't ready for riding. [ she asked, she's finding she has to ask a lot of things in regards to pokemon. ]

I want to be able to travel as soon as possible but I don't want to hurt him in the process... [ she pets his mane softly. ]

But pokemon are really amazing! He's completely ready for everything I do with him! [ basically. Flaming Rabbit is awesome. ]

[Hope you don't mind Mayu gaping at Xiaoqiao's explanation there. So knowledgeable and she appears to be at Mayu's age? At this rate, she'll probably be an inspiration.]

For being built for battle, it'd be kind of logical for them to be ready after a few hours of hatching. [At least in her eyes.]

Horses aren't really common where I come from. Other than walking, we usually get around by walking or the subway.

I have a fish that looks kind of like Xiao'yu...a Magikarp to be specific. I didn't really know how to train him but he seems to be learning by watching my other pokemon battle.

I'll have to see a train first then! [ her to-do list grows. ]

Hm...so maybe until she builds up confidence I should just let her watch me train Flaming Rabbit? [ that sounds so...passive though. it's really not her style, but at the same time it sounds like maybe that'd be the best way if she doesn't want to scare Xiao'yu more. ]

Maybe. It kind of worked out with Ken. He even went against a couple of pokemon for the first time a couple days ago before he gave out.
