Where's the nearest waterfall? [ forget manners or introductions, she just thought of something and she's too excited to bother with anything else! in fact she couldn't even wait to sit down properly, just turned the gear thingy on while she was sitting in the grass after a training session with her ponyta. ]

Oh, um! I'm in Cherrygrove so...where's the nearest waterfall from there? [ this is all for you, Xiao'yu. clearly a waterfall is the solution to training you! there's some splashing noises coming from vaguely behind her where her feebas is resting in a bucket of water. Xiaoqiao does not seem to notice. ]

I think Flaming Rabbit will be strong enough to ride long distances soon, I've been training him every day since he hatched! So, so I think he'll be okay even if the trip is a bit long...

[ her ponyta wanders by, sitting down next to her and resting his head in her lap. yeah...her ponyta is named Flaming Rabbit. she plays with the flaming mane for a moment. ]

Or should I start with a river?

[ oh right, video is still on. ] Oh! Thank you in advanced for your assistance!

[ she totally remembers to have manners, see! ]

The nearest waterfall is Tohjo Falls. This is across the sea that parts Newbark Town. I'm not sure if it's currently accessible or not, but I do think it's the closest waterfall, and possibly the largest within the region.

[ She'll be supportive. Primarily because what the hell is this ugly fish and does it have any use besides flopping around? She's never seen a Mitolic before... ]

You can probably ride on one of your pokémon over there, or, you can also fly on one. I guess swimming over there is a likely possibility too.... [ Lust isn't that sure how to actually get there. She just knows it exists. ]

Yes. Normally, you'll be able to ride on water to certain locations. Or, you can at least find a way to float your way across the route. But, it might take awhile. [ She'll be kinda blase about this conversation. ]

No problem. My name is Isabella if you have any more questions.
licentious: (I don't think of it like a pole dancing)

You probably could. I heard those fishes grow into large and majestic creatures known as Milotic. [ She won't spoil the conditions of growth yet.

Lust continues to smile while wondering of Xiaoqiao really does name her pokemon after herself, or if that was just a coincidence. ]

The honor is mine. Tell me, do you name all of your pokemon with the Xiao suffix?

Please, let me know what you find. [ Wonder pets, wonder pets, we're on our way! ]

Xiaoqiao would mean, then...? [ Is this still just a coincidence or is it intentional? Lust doesn't really have a clue, and she just becomes more frustrated when she sees flaming rabbit the horse. ]

I believe that is a horse. I understand they're both mammals, but one isn't really interchangeable with the other... [ Her voice trails off, trying its best (and marginally failing) to sound impartial. ]

Excellent. [ For now. ]

Hmm... so do you have an actual name or is that your name? [ What weird naming scheme...

But not as weird as what she just said. Lust kinda stares at the feed half empty (or half full if Xiaoqiao is like that). She's not sure how to react to this at all. She doesn't even have something witty and slightly derisive to say. ]

I'm sure they would both have amazing kits. [ Yeah. Baby rabbit jokes. Why not. ]

Hmm... so, in other words, your common name to other people is a title? Are you particularly enthused with this? [ cause Lust wouldn't. ]

I'm sure he'll be able to live up to half of it. [ Ha. ]

I see. I suppose if my name was just reduced to a title, I'd be particularly irate because it doesn't show a particular view of the person behind the title. For you, it probably produces something entirely different because that's the culture and it doesn't have that type of meaning where you're from. Your world sounds extraordinary compared to most.

Kind of, yes. Sometimes it detonates respect, like addressing someone as Doctor. But, in some cases, it's considered disrespectful. For example, in our world, teachers are called by the formula of a title and then their last name, like Mrs. Smith. If you just called them like, "Hey! Teacher!", it would be considered slightly impolite and demanding.

Ah. I believe I know that feeling. I'm from a hundred years in the past, so many of these things are often surprising and completely different for me!

Ah, yes, but the English language usually uses tone to detonate a lesser status. A particularly cheery tone could mean that there's a condescending tone behind it because it portrays a tone similar to that of a child.

[ She reflects for a bit before answering. ]

In some ways, no. I'm use to traveling and strange animals. However, when it came to things like blenders, toasters and vehicles, yes. [ She's still the worst bicyclist. ]

Humans get most of the meaning of a message through tone and body language. I'm sure you have remained inoffensive.

Yes. The stove is sometimes very frustrating to properly operate. [ Not really, but she'll entertain this thought. ]

Luckily, once you master one appliance, the others fall into place. Buttons are a beautiful thing.

[ haha... lust does want your honorifics! she like being respected. ]

That's the same feeling I used to get. Now, I know I'm going to go home and miss these life-helpers. I know I'll invent them back home now. [ HAHAHA she's going to be RIIIIIIIICH. ]

So you think, but there actually is. These materials did not appear from nowhere, after all. They've always been there. The construction that leads to their form and function is a different story entirely. [ Unless Xiaoqiao lives underwater... in which case Lust has several questions. ]

Well, I am called bright but ambitious is a new one. [ ...Actually, it's the reverse. At best, people usually say, "YOU TRICKED US!!!!" when it comes to her brightness. ]
